Apply to Join the Jupiter Sea Cadets
Ready for leadership and adventure? Follow this simple enrollment guide to apply to join the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps right here in Jupiter.

STEP 1: Initial Enrollment Documents
Complete the Cadet Application (Pages 1-11). To begin the Jupiter Sea Cadets registration process, submit the following:
- Member Information & Declarations (Pgs. 1-2): Use the format 'DD Mon YYYY' (e.g., 02 Feb 2018) for birthdays. Include referral names so current cadets earn recruiting ribbons.
- Parental Consent & Liability Release (Pg. 2): Must be signed and dated in BLACK ink.
- Report of Medical History (Pgs. 3-4): Completed by a parent/guardian to disclose medical needs or allergies. Hand-signed and initialed in BLACK ink only.
- Parental Support Agreement (Pg. 11): We look for parents to share their unique skills for squadron projects.
- Insurance & Health Records: Provide front/back copies of the cadet’s medical insurance card and full immunization records.
- Identification: Provide a clear, head-and-shoulders photo of the cadet for their official ID card.
- Enrollment Fee: Contact us directly for payment details. We accept cash, check, or Venmo.
Submit complete Step 1 forms via email to tfpolk@gmail.com;adinaariesan@gmail.com. Applications are only processed once all Step 1 items are verified correct.
STEP 2: Medical Clearance (Due within 30 days)
- Report of Medical Examination (Pgs. 5-6): An annual physical signed by a physician. You may use a recent school sports physical.
- Medical History Supplemental (Pgs. 7-8): Lists medications. Prescriptions require a doctor’s signature; over-the-counter items require a parent’s signature.
- Request for Accommodations (Pgs. 9-10): Tell us if specific accommodations are needed for PT, drills, or training.
STEP 3: Uniform Issue & Responsibility
After your registration is confirmed, Supply Petty Officers will fit the recruit for uniforms at the following drill. These are official U.S. Navy uniforms. Cadets must represent the Jupiter Sea Cadets with the highest level of professionalism and respect. Uniforms are strictly for Sea Cadet events. All uniform items remain the property of the Jupiter Langley Squadron and must be returned if a cadet leaves the unit.
